With pleasure I am announcing the release of version 3.0 of the Replace Anchor Target WordPress plugin. While this is a seldom used piece of software (I’m not even sure anyone does use it anymore) I’ve made it a test-piece for some serious rebuilding of the codebase. As such, it is the first plugin with my new Bit51 plugin library that will, with luck, help me to develop and evolve my plugins faster and more efficiently while staying closer to the coding standards and API’s of current and future WordPress core versions.
Even if you’re not in need of the functionality, if you’re a WordPress plugin developer please check it out and let me know what you think of the code and where I can improve as I work on upgrading my remaining plugins.
Bit51 is resource designed to help the web development and related communities grow and improve websites with articles, tutorials, and software solutions such as Better WP Security.
